








ICAR-ISRI, Lucknow Signed Tripartite MoU with ANFPCL & KVK-II
A Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between ICAR–Indian Sugarcane Research Institute (ISRI), Lucknow, Atkohna Namdhari Farmer Producer Company Ltd. (ANFPCL), Lakhimpur Kheri, and Krishi Vigyan Kendra-II (KVK-II), Lakhimpur Kheri for sharing scientific expertise, technology transfer, and development of improved jaggery and value-added products.
KVK-II, Lakhimpur Kheri, being one of the technology transfer units of ICAR-ISRI and working exclusively for Lakhimpur Kheri district, plays a key role in the effective dissemination of agricultural technologies among farmers of the district in Uttar Pradesh. The MoU focuses on training and adoption of the ISRI-developed improved three-pan method of jaggery production, along with other value-added jaggery products, through coordinated efforts among ISRI, KVK-II, Lakhimpur Kheri, and ANFPCL/manufacturers.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Dinesh Singh, Director, ICAR-ISRI, Lucknow; Mr. Jaswant Singh, Proprietor, ANFPCL, Lakhimpur Kheri; and Dr. R. K. Singh, Senior Scientist & In-charge, KVK-II, Lakhimpur Kheri. The signing ceremony was graced by Dr. L. S. Gangwar, Principal Scientist & In-charge, AKMU & ITMU, and Dr. M. K. Tripathi, Principal Scientist & In-charge, PME.
