Achievements (ICAR- ISRI Biological Control Centre, Pravaranagar (Maharashtra))

Mass production of pupalparasitoid Tetrastichushowardi: Mass production of pupal parasitoid Tetrastichushowardi: Cost-effective technology for mass production of a larval-pupalendoparasitoid Tetrastichushowardi(Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) was developed using larval and pupal stage of host insect G. mellonellaunder laboratory conditions. Total 417.5 and 317.0 adult parasitoids emerged with a development time of 18 and 20 days from the pupal and larval stages.
